Maitenance:
Service visit and evaluation: $135.00 for up to the first 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes, $65/hr (billed in 15 min increments)
STANDARD SERVICE VISIT TASKS:
- Walk-through and evaluation/visual inspection of your lights.
- Check bulbs, replace any of we have them available, (bulbs cost extra).
- Check visible lighting connections.
- Re-aim and adjust spotlights.
- Straighten path lights.
- Bury and stake down any exposed wires.
- Check the transformer and connections; clean the photocell (if applicable).
- Use glass cleaner and rags to clean glass lenses on light fixtures.
FIXTURE RESTORATION:
LUMEN can restore the finish on your old and faded black fixtures.
Here is our process:
STEP 1: Light-pressure wash and scrub fixtures.
STEP 2: Wax and grease remover to remove oil and promote adhesion.
STEP 3: Mask off glass and/or lenses.
STEP 4: Apply enamel spray paint and unmask.
Design & Install:
Evaluation: For new construction, we give free quotes.
Design: We tailor low-voltage LED systems to your budget and property using a variety of trusted, long-lasting fixtures. Expect warm & friendly light, clean wiring with waterproof connections, and a high-quality design & craftsmanship.
Control options (pick what you prefer):
Mechanical timer – classic dial timer; set fixed on/off times.
Dusk-to-dawn photocell – turns lights on at sunset and off at sunrise automatically.
Smart control – app/voice control with schedules and zones.
Construction: After we collect a 50% deposit and sign the customer agreement, we schedule a date for installation.

FAQ:
Will LUMEN install fixtures if I provide them?
ANSWER: NO, Unfortunately we do not offer installation of customer provided fixtures. We have
invested a lot of time and research into working with reputable suppliers and brands
that will stand the test of time and have a good warranty and a product that we can stand behind.
What is the warranty on workmanship and fixtures?
ANSWER: Depending on the fixtures selected, manufacturer warranties range from 90 days to a
lifetime. We proudly guarantee our workmanship for one year following installation. Once you are a
LUMEN customer, we are always grateful for your business, and may extend your warranty coverage
at our discretion.
Please note: Warranty does not cover damage caused by vandalism, animals, weather events, or
any modifications to the system performed by anyone other than LUMEN.
Is LUMEN licensed and insured?
ANSWER: Yes. LUMEN is fully licensed (CCB# 258580) and bonded in the state of Oregon for all phases of our work.
We also carry an workers compensation policy to cover & protect all of our employees while at work.
What is a photocell?
ANSWER: A photocell is an electronic mechanism that senses daylight (or the absence of)
and allows lights to turn on. The common alternatives are switches & mechanical timers.
Can I be electrocuted by the lights?
ANSWER: The lights that are installed by LUMEN will be operating on a low-voltage circuit.
Although it can produce a shock, the low voltage circuits are not typically as dangerous as
standard electrical power. However its important to treat all electrical components with a
high level of care & proper handling.
